These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Gully Cricket Scorer (the "App") and this website. By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
1. What the App is
Gully Cricket Scorer is a free scoring tool for informal, recreational street and gully cricket. It lets you record ball-by-ball scores, manage teams and players, and share scorecards with others. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the BCCI, ICC, or any official cricket governing body, and it is not a gambling, betting, or wagering product of any kind.
2. Eligibility & accounts
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
- You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure.
- You're responsible for activity that happens under your account.
3. Your content
You keep ownership of the content you add — profile photos, player and team names, match data. By adding it, you give other participants in a match (teammates, opponents, and anyone you share a scorecard with) permission to view it as part of normal App use. Don't upload content that's illegal, abusive, or that you don't have the right to share, and don't add another real person's photo or details without their consent.
4. House rules & scoring accuracy
Gully cricket is played under many informal variations — Last Man Standing, smaller squads, Super Overs, and local ground rules. The App supports common variations, but scoring is entered by users and we don't guarantee it's free of human error. Scorecards reflect what was entered, not an officiated record.
5. Acceptable use
Don't use the App to harass another user, attempt to access another user's account, reverse-engineer the App beyond what's permitted by law, or interfere with its normal operation.
6. Third-party services
The App relies on Google Firebase for accounts, data storage, notifications, and crash diagnostics, and optionally Google Sign-In. Your use of those features is also subject to Google's own terms and privacy policy.
7. Account & data deletion
You can delete your account at any time in-app. See the Data Deletion page for what's removed and what's retained (in short: match records you were part of are kept so other players' scorecards stay intact).
8. Disclaimer of warranty
The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that scoring data will never be lost — offline handoff and multi-device syncing are best-effort.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including loss of match data.
10. Changes to the App or these Terms
We may update the App or these Terms over time. If we make material changes to the Terms, we'll update the effective date above.
11. Termination
You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
